COLIN HARRISON
Colin started Kestrel Energy Solutions Ltd. a Gas & LNG and Energy consultancy to support clients and private investors on making the right commercial and strategic decisions on their Midstream and Downstream projects and plans. Colin brings 35 years of oil and gas industry experience and techno-economic and commercial acumen. He has held senior roles in oil and gas commercial consultancy, engineering management, sales and marketing and insurance with international companies bringing a balanced, practical and perceptive approach to strategic studies, project evaluations, global markets and commercial agreements and transactions.
Colin has extensive experience of working as a trusted adviser with international institutions, national government departments, national oil companies, independent oil & gas companies, law firms, banks and financial institutions.
Prior to Kestrel Energy Solutions, Colin managed Midstream & Downstream oil and gas consultancies responsible for business development, project director, management and delivery of complex assignments primarily in EMEA. Most recently, Colin built up IPA Advisory’s oil, gas & LNG group where he established a strong brand in the MEA region. This included leading several gas & LNG commercial and market assignments in West Africa and Middle East on LNG imports, gas pipelines, integrated gas monetisation and integrated energy projects.

Paul has over 30 year’s energy sector experience with major areas of work in the natural gas industry structure and regulation. He has a specific interest in the development, financing and pricing of services on gas transmission and distribution networks, where he is an energy sector economics and tariff specialist. Although his principal area of work is in the international gas industry, he has also applied a wide range of knowledge and techniques to economic analysis in the oil and electricity industries.
Mike Madden – Gas Infrastructure and Policy Expert
Mike is a chartered engineer with over 36 years of operational and commercial experience. Mike offers a unique blend of technical, economic, commercial and regulatory expertise to gas and LNG sector clients. Mike has a well-established and detailed understanding of gas networks and gas management, from recent assignments and his background at British Gas plc, where initially as a pipeline engineer and then a commercial negotiator in British Gas Transportation. He has both investigated and advised on the commercial, operational, technical and regulatory aspects of gas and LNG markets and associated infrastructure for multiple projects throughout the world.
Yvonne Barton - LNG Commercial Expert
Yvonne is an expert on the global gas markets and gas/LNG infrastructure in Europe and Africa, with an extensive background in their regulation. She is a specialist in the development of LNG receiving and regasification facilities, with recent commercial roles on Lithuania, Morocco and Italian projects; global LNG markets supply/demand forecasting; LNG supply sourcing; sale & purchase agreements. She regularly runs training courses on commercial aspects of the gas/LNG industry and third-party access to multi-user LNG import terminals.
Nikhil Venkateswaran – Power Market Specialist
Nikhil has 20 years’ power experience including power station revenue forecasting and valuation, long-term power and renewables market and commodity price forecasting, market modelling, strategy development and implementation, business planning, financial analysis, corporate finance, structured energy trading, risk assessment, and technology technical and commercial analysis. These include economic and financial analysis and commercial advisory for a number of power generation new build and transaction (M&A, financing, and IPOs) projects in the UK, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Africa.
